My favourite part of being a maternity photographer is knowing you’ll have photos to look back on and treasure forever. As a Mum myself, I truly understand how meaningful it is to capture these moments – it’s a big part of why I chose to specialise as a maternity photographer.

I know how you’re feeling – putting on shoes is a mission, bathroom breaks are constant, and the idea of posing for photos might be the last thing on your mind. But trust me, you won’t regret capturing this incredible milestone! These photos will serve as a precious reminder of this fleeting moment, not just for you but for your little one too. My kids love looking at photos of themselves when they were in my tummy, and it’s such a special way to connect with your baby’s story.

I cherish the few photos I have of my mum when she was pregnant with me. Looking back at them is such an emotional experience – knowing I was there, safe and oblivious to the world ahead, is something truly magical.
